Description

Here is a modified HST palette on a narrowband image of the Bubble Nebula. It took a very long time for me to get this to a point where I thought it was worth sharing. Some of the biggest issues I faced were the small (1-2 pixel) stars that would not get covered by any star mask I could make which would lead to some ringing during deconvolution sadly. It was so bad on previous edits that I just gave up in frustration and decided to come back to it later. However, I think I did a decent job at cleaning them and making sure they didn't ring too badly. I had the exact same issue on my image of M81/M82, but now it seems I have a way to fix it! I'll have to re edit that image sometime soon now.

Another thing I really struggled with though was the color. I am *really* trying to get away from the gold and cyan color scheme. As much as I love it, it just makes all images look bicolor! So I managed to keep just enough green in the image to satisfy me. Not to mention after running an SCNR green at the end as a test to see what it would look like with no green, I liked the version posted more than the version with no green

Baby steps :)
