Description

After the image Ha published previously, here is the final image in color. I had to support the color by applying a layer Ha in the red of the image.

IC 2177 is a large emission nebula located at 3800 light-years from our system. It was discovered by an amateur astronomer Isaac Roberts. It is a large complex of nebulae accompanied by several small open clusters.

It is nicknamed the Seagull Nebula due to its very expressive form.
