Description

This small open star cluster is located in the constellation Centaurus but benefits from the vast Carina Molecular Cloud.

Attempting to capture some of these clouds of gas led me to photograph this cluster in Ha and RGB.

NGC 3766 is a very dense open cluster that glitters like a pearl, hence its nickname "The Pearl Cluster".
