I posted an image of this object the other week, and always hoped to take it again with a different field of view containing the other galaxies in the vicinity. I have managed to do this and I also obtained 47 subs at 5 minutes long each - a fraction under 4 hours worth of integration time. I am really pleased with how it has turned out, and compared to the other version of this which was processed with only 11 subs, there is a great deal of improvement in the detail, as I have a better signal to noise ratio. I used my 8" reflector and modified DSLR for this, as normal. I very much like the other two galaxies on the right, as they have interesting features. The main galaxy is also known as the knife edge galaxy - there are some strange circular tidal streams which emanate from this object, but alas with my skies and the lack of integration time, that was not ever going to happen!
