Description

I didn't intend on imaging this object. I wanted to image IC 4592 the Blue Horsehead Nebula.

However it was located in very heavy light pollution. IC 4592 is a very dim object. I tried

several different iso settings and exposures just to see if I could capture any nebulosity. I

could not see any nebulosity and most of my test images were blown out because of light pollution. So rather than waste a clear sky night I decided to image M20. I was using my

AT72ED Refractor to try and image IC 4592 so I also used it to image M20. When I finished imaging M20 with my AT72ED Refractor I went inside and brought out my AT6RC and swapped out the scopes. So I imaged M20 last with both my AT72ED and my AT6RC.

Description: Due to the weather I've not been able to get outside and image. So I was looking over some of my image folders and noticed this image. I decided to completely reprocess the image beginning with aligning and stacking. I like to get the practice processing even if I can't image.
