Description

Two nights of decent seeing in a row right as Jupiter reached opposition was a real treat last week. Imaged Jupiter, Io, and Europa on May 9th. The GRS was just visible at the start of the imaging session when this was taken. I went full frame to capture both moons along with Jupiter, so the FPS ended up really low at 44 and there were only a few thousand frames in 60 second capture. Working on getting FPS higher so I can stack more frames and beat down the noise in my images...

Imaged with a C8 Evo, custom Siebert 2x barlow, ZWO ADC, and ZWO ASI224MC. Image capture using Firecapture. Stacking in AutoStakkert3. Wavelet sharpening in Registax.
