Best-practice workflow for planetary processing

Technical card

Focal length: 6000

Description

First trials with WinJupos.
Looks to me like Autostakkert works better for short video streams. The 5 minute stream below is however first de-rotated with WJ and thereafter put into AS (..and then Registax and Photoshop). Results were clearly better than without the WJ step.
The little moon with its shadow was just pure luck, think it's Io but not sure.
Still have to compare one long stream into WJ compared with many shorter straight into AS and thereafter de-rotate in WJ. Need however good seeing first though..
But does anyone have some own best-practice hints for a planetary workflow..? My tools are WJ, AS, RS and PS.
Would very much appreciate some good advice :-)
