Dual OTAs on Paramount Myt


This is a gratuitous gear image showing a Stellarvue SV-70t (with ZWO ASI-183 & ASI-290) atop a Stellarvue SVQ-100 (with a QSI-690 & Lodestar X2) riding on a Software Bisque Paramount MyT.

I setup the gear like this to test some code for my automation system (runs on top of SkyX) which synchronizes the images from both cameras (with dithers and focusing). The code worked well and the mount handled the load just fine. Although useful for some purposes, two OTAs is more hassle than I normally want to deal with and so I'm back to my usual SVQ. Besides, I had to return the second counterweight to the rightful owner. The test image is here:
