Description

NGC-5676 is an unbarred spiral galaxy in Bootes, roughly 100 million light-years distant, and perhaps 120,000 light-years across (comparable to the Milky Way) The northern arms of the galaxy (to the left) have areas of star formation. The southern arms of the galaxy appear disturbed, though there may also be foreground dust obscuring them somewhat.
