Description

IC 2948/2944, two open clusters associated with an emission nebula, nicknamed "Running Chicken Nebula", has the particular characteristic of presenting Bok globules, small dark nebulae, discovered by David Thackeray, hence the name of Thackeray's globules.

Some of the shots were made under the moon. The DSS Drizzle2 box, for stacking, has been checked. I noticed that I could go further in processing extensions. I do not know if this comment is justified ...
