Just a quick and noisy image while traveling with the refractor and one-shot color camera all while I continue to work on three longer term projects. I really need to do this subject with the Newtonian and monochrome camera some day.
It's not enough integration time, but it's a little too low to shoot from home. I also get blocked pretty soon from my parents' place in NJ, which is why it's only 2-3 hours. I tried stacking with my data from the faulty refractor from last year (
https://www.astrobin.com/300946/) but it didn't work. I was still able to incorporate some of it via layering, but it didn't help reduce the noise. The star field is made up of less than 2 hours of integration time. Maybe I can work on it again next year as well. I also had a lot of flex with my guide scope - perhaps I need an off axis guider for the color camera...
