Description

NGC 4349 is an open cluster of stars really very rarely imaged.

When processing these images, the more I advanced and the more I found it pretty. I decided to make it shine a thousand lights.

This cluster is identified for the first time by James Dunlop in 1826. It is located in the Crux constellation, observable exclusively from the southern hemisphere, and is circumpolar. Distant from our system of about 7100 light-years, it has an apparent size of 11 arc minutes, and its age is estimated at 210 million years.
