This object is an emission nebula located 7500 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus. The nebula is illuminated by the hot stars in the star cluster Berkeley 90, seen just above the center of this narrowband image. The stars are seen to be clearing out space within the dense, billowing dust cloud.

Abell 71 is the small bright round emission area seen down and to the right of Sh2-115. The dim bluish central star appears to be visible. This looks like a faint planetary nebula to me, but some scientists believe that it is simply an HII region based on the fact that it contains almost no OIII emissions characteristic of a planetary nebula. But my narrowband subs show a fairly bright OIII emission in the center of the nebula, as evidenced by the yellow color in the image above.

The reddish bands in the lower right of the image, extending up and to the right, look like a separate object to me but I could not find a designation for it. This object has a stong HII component but no OIII component, and seems to be an HII region. The V-shaped object in the upper right corner of this region looks interesting to me.
