Description

NGC 6503 is a magnitude 10.2 dwarf spiral galaxy in the constellation of Draco, and is located at a distance of about 17 million light years. It has an apparent size of 7 x 2.5 arc minutes.

Guiding: ST-402 on Innovations Foresight On-Axis Guider

Optics: RGB: Celestron EdgeHD 1100

Exposure: LRGB (unbinned): L:54x10 R:10x10 min, G:8x10 min, B:9x10 min Total 12.8 hrs

Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
