Description

Revision: Reduced too prominent cyan/blue color in galaxy.

--------------

NGC 2403 (Caldwell 7) is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis located in the M81 group of galaxies. Distance is ~8 million light-years and diameter is around 50,000 light years. There are numerous prominent reddish star-forming H II regions.

During image processing, I was astonished by the very bluish color of the galaxy.
