Description

This is an unusual Planetary nebula indeed. It's been described as a proto planetary nebula? The WR star HD 184738 has very strong Hydrogen and nitrogen emissions but the green oxygen is missing.

As can be seen in both the RGB and the Ha enhanced RGB images it has this beautiful ruby red hue.

There are two other very red stars in this fov. A tiny star at around half past one to the right of Campbell's star, and another further out at around three thirty.

I've not used any colour manipulation other than the photometric colour balancing tool in PI.

I forgot to mention in the summary this lies within Sh2-91 an old supernova remnant.
