Description

Well, I have moved house into temporary accommodation, before I move yet again to the house I am supposed to be in - it is a long story - but it is other people causing the problem! So, whilst being up to my neck in boxes I crazily decided to set the scope up, because from this garden I realised I had the opportunity, before the weather broke, to image the trifid nebula. This is something I could not have done from my previous location, due to it being so low down and with various houses in the way too.

So through dense light pollution, just above the roofs of nearby houses, without even collimating the scope, such was my rush, I managed to get 19 subs of this, at 4.5 minutes long each, before it went behind some trees... All in all I am pleased to have finally imaged this, through my 8" reflector. I hope to do the 'Lagoon' when the weather improves...
