Well it was a night of frustration. I got a break in the weather, and went ahead with imaging this, as I mentioned before. Alas, I did not realise that the focus had fractionally slipped, and the collimation too, and so all 22 subs were slightly 'off', and thus the image I hoped for was somewhat lost. I have applied some extra bias and unsharp mask just to bring it up, but 'up close' it is not what it should be. I am quite disappointed. We will put it down to that thing called 'experience'! I used my modified DSLR, an 8" reflector and PixInsight as normal.

The lowness of this object, and the very limited sky I have to image it in, the time of year, the weather and the gradually increasing moon, may mean this is my last chance to image this again - at least here at this temporary accommodation - I am not sure how the garden will be in the next home I will live in. We will have to see...
