Description

I have always been intrigued by the shape of these stars. For this capture, my goal was the stars forming the asterism. It would be the crown of the Sagittarius neighbor but erected in true constellation.

Corona Australis has no real remarkable objects but contains a very interesting dust band : a dusty dark nebula known as the Corona Australis Molecular Cloud, with many embedded reflection nebulae, lying about 430 light years away. It is the closest star-forming regions to the Solar System.

During the shooting session, a meteor visited me, I left it on the image.
