Description

A crack in the Earth's magnetic field allowed particles from the Sun to enter the atmosphere and trigger the northern lights, or aurora borealis. It started out slow after sundown, with a faint green glow visible towards the north over Green Bay, then built up into a very powerful light show from 2-4am early Sunday. We were treated to a spellbinding light show in the sky that pushed far overhead and moved in pulsating waves of color and light. Had there not been a full Moon, the show would've been even more intense!
