Description

This object is a faint emission nebula located 1600 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus, near the North American and Pelican nebulae.

The emission nebula at first glance is primarily rectangular in shape, but upon close inspection you can see many subtle variations in the emission brightness. In particular, it looks like there are 3 primary vertical bands which overlay an extremely faint background emission.

I was able to detect only hydrogen in this area. Very little oxygen or sulfur is present.
