Description

Still playing with the new RC. Trying a Baader moon and skyglow in the train. I also tried an AP16T nosepiece, but the spacing between the reducer and camera may have been too short and I got some rather bad spherical abberation/astigmatism (not sure which, possibly both). I chucked those images and went with an OPT OS-A2T (2" to t-thread adapter) from Optcorp. This seems to have largely solved that issue. Using a bahtinov mask to nail focus was also useful.

The scope probably still needs a bit of collimation, but probably not too much.
