Description

NGC 5139, also known as the Omega Centauri, is the largest globular cluster in the Milky Way galaxy and comprises over 10 million stars. It is one of the few globular clusters visible to the naked eye. Omega Centauri is approximately 15,800 light years light years from Earth and can be seen in the constellation of Centaurus.
