Moon - Waning Gibbous 88% - 28 Sep 2018

This is my first released image from my new scope a 10 inch modified Dall-Kirkham AD250 from 656 Imaging (

I'm still getting everything setup with the scope and the mount and my intended target for the evening and some testing was the globular cluster Messier 2. Unfortunately it went behind some trees before I could get all the data I wanted. As the Moon was well up by then I decided to take a quick image, just to get a feel for the field of view the new scope offered with my imaging equipment. After a quick bit of light processing, mainly curves to adjust the balance and a little sharpening, this is the end result. Needless to say I'm delighted with the scope and result. I just need to get my mount working better with it all.
