Description

My first attempt at capturing M31. Andromeda is still far to the East, which means right above the city light pollution. On top of this, a 90% moon was really close.

I therefore had to fight the light glow in post-processing and attempting a synthetic flat.

At least it shows M31 and both satellite galaxies and some of the dust structures.

Shot in Utrecht, the Netherlands, on Sep 29 2018.
