Description

This is likely one of the deepest images of NGC 3614 around since it is my discovery image of the attendant tidal streams. There is still a paper in the works for this galaxy (either on its own, or to be included with others as part of Dr. David Delgado Martinez's research in galactic stellar streams).  I am a member of Dr. Martinez's team- and struck out on my own to find my own galaxy that at the time had undiscovered tidal streams.

You can read about the discovery with links to Dr. Martinez's work and other papers here:
https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/2515-5172/ac0912

I also did something interesting with this data. I made it available to customers of AdamBlockStudios to work with and follow along with my processing.
The goal here is , of course, to show the tidal streams in some reasonable way- they are very very faint.

Title: Inverted Image with color inset

Description: This is an inverted image of the luminance data with a minimal color inset. No addition contrast/processing- basically this is the integrated luminance.

Title: NGC 3614 original

Description: This is actually the original version I created and published. The astrobin final version is perhaps a tiny bit brighter. Not certain which is better.
