Description

47 Tucanae or 47 Tuc (NGC 104) is a massive globular cluster and is impressive even with a pair of binoculars. It's a joy to view with just a small telescope.

It is home to several million stars and lies just 120 light years away, so the aliens there will be able to watch our TV shows in about 60 years.
