Description

Had some time in the morning and the sky was clear as it could be, humidity down, did not have a night like that since last March. The last time I targeted the Rosette Nebula I still had my "old" Altair camera, and I definitely wanted to see the difference to the ASI1600. And what a difference this is! The color is a bit unusual, but it was the color that revealed most of the nebulosity structures, the "standard" version will follow soon. I will target it again with longer exposure times, let's see how far I can go!

The more common version of the Rosette Nebula. Call me crazy but I like the turquoise version better :-). Still, the seeing conditions that night were incredibly good, should be always like that!

C

Version C has 600 seconds exposures added to the previous version. I intermixed the channels, 30% 180 seconds exposure with 70% 600 seconds exposures. The Hß images were shared 50% with the OIII ones.
