Description

M2 (NGC 7089) est un amas globulaire découvert par l'astronome franco-italien Giovanni Domenico Maraldi en 1746 situé dans le Verseau. Il fut résolu en étoiles par William Herschel. C'est l'un des plus riches et des plus denses en étoiles qui soit connu.
