I dragged my travel set up to the backyard when I saw a streak of clear days and nights here in Portland Oregon. I live in the center of the city so I used the STC Duo narrowband filter on my OSC QHY367c camera. I've found this does a decent job with Ha but the OIII is a challenge.

An even bigger challenge is the file size of the subs. Each sub is 35 megapixels and I shot over 200. With the color images the file size is even bigger. It seems I need nearly 100 gigs free just to process.

After pruning subs (I shot unguided so a decent % where out of round) I used just under 12 hours of 5 minute subs for this. The blue was pushed pretty hard to bring out what little OIII reflection there is here.
