Description

The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) is about 11,000 light years from Earth and about 10 light years across. Fierce stellar wind from the hot, young, massive central star (10 to 20x our Sun) has blasted out the structure of glowing gas against denser material in a surrounding molecular cloud.

This Nebula is a 12th magnitude planetary nebula. A composite of 72 minutes (12, 6-minute subs) of LRGB and 42 minutes (8, 6-minute subs) of Hydrogen Alpha narrowband images were combined to create this image. A modified canon t3i on a Explore Scientific 127 APO telescope captured this image.
