Flying Bat and Squid Nebula.
Sh2-129 is a bright nebula appearing in the constellation Cepheus. It is 9318 light years from our solar system.
It is a pretty large target roughly 100.0 x 65.0 arcminutes in size.
The stars were take using 3 second exposures, RGB.....15 each. Both the NB and RGB stars were processed separately in PixInsight and were layered together in PS using the "Lighten" blending mode. Dust Removal was used to help remove the stars on the NB image......the "Spot Healing" tool was used to clean up residual star artifacts. Albeit a hurried job.....when I have time and I will reprocess this image. Not real happy with this outcome!
