IC 342, die verborgene Galaxie. Die etwa 11 Millionen Lichtjahre entfernte Spiralgalaxie im nördlichen Sternbild Giraffe liegt in der Nähe des galaktischen Aquators. Somit wird ihr Light durch kosmische Gas- und Staubwolken abgedämpft.

IC 342, the hidden galaxy. The spiral galaxy located about 11 million light years away in the northern constellation Camelopardalis is located near the galactic equator. Thus, their light is dampened by cosmic gas and dust clouds.
