Description

It's been too long since I've done a galaxy. I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of star color with a monochrome camera. I actually can't believe this turned out half as well as it did, as most of my color data was terrible. I only got decent data on the last night of shooting (11/3-11/4). I usually don't change filters during a night, but I knew my data had been pretty awful up to then, so I gave each RGB filter 26 subs and saved the rest of the night (121 subs) for luminance, but to give an example of how bad the rest of my data was: My DSS scores for luminance that last night ranged from 26493.48 to 16971.54. The other night I shot luminance data, my highest score was 15055.42 - the RGB data (which was the bulk of it) follow that pattern.

For some reason, I couldn't pull out the Ha very well. I might try to work it in again, but I gave it two shots already. :/
