Description

Image of the recent Type II Supernova discovered in M77, the full size TIFF you can identify the SN clearly however .jpg distorts it slightly.

Just to give you an understanding the field of view on this Newtonian is 1.8 deg x 1.3 deg approximately and the size of the galaxy is 7.1 arc seconds x 6 arc seconds. To see it fill the screen the image has been digitally zoomed 400%. I think this is amazing!
