Description

When I put the EdgeHD 9.25" up on the MyT for the first time, I was searching for objects that were currently visible and would leverage the longer focal length. I chose IC 289 without a lot of thought, and as you can see it's pretty small. This is a little over 5 hours of LRGB data, so interesting to me to see what could be pulled out in an orange zone with LRGB.

The "final" image here is zoomed in and the stars get kind of fuzzy; check the "original" image here to see something closer to what came out of the processing.

My guiding has since improved (finally got my OAG dialed in) so it would be interesting to see how this looks with better guiding and 20+ hours of data. Put it on the project list!

Cheers from Blueberry Hill,

Rowland
