Description

This image shows the space traffic that went by as I imaged LDN 673 and 684. I counted 17 satellites, one airplane, one meteor (I believe), a couple of very faint asteroids (basically undetectable without a sky chart), and many cosmic ray hits.

To capture this, I used "maximum" rather than any of the average or sigma clipping algorithms when doing image integration. This is from 17 hours of integration time, at 480mm focal length using an 8300 CCD. These defects were all easily removed with normal processing techniques, but I wanted to capture these since it seemed like a busier set of subs than I typically encounter.
