Description

Messier 15 (NGC 7078) is a globular cluster 33,900 light years distant in the constellation of Pegasus. It measures 180 light years in diameter and is one of the densest globulars in our galaxy. The cluster was discovered by Jean-Dominique Maraldi II on 7 September 1746. (All information from: O’Meara, SJ, The Messier Objects: Second Edition: Cambridge University Press – 2014.)

M15 was imaged between 28 October and 5 December 2018 from a remote imaging rig in Spain owned and operated by Barry Wilson and Steve Milne.
