Description

Cygnus is slowly moving out of the sky. So I decided to image something in it because of that and because I knew I would be racing the Moon and Cygnus was about as far away from the Moon as I could get. Before I started imaging I felt like I could get the light frames I needed before the Moon rose high enough to cause problems. However that was an incorrect assumption. I wound up having to trash more than half of my light frames because of the Moon. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining I'm just explaining. I was glad that I was able to image tonight. However the Moon does irritate me. It seems that a lot of my clear sky nights happen when there is a bright Moon up. I did get an image and I'm pleased with the image. Please enjoy my most recent image of M 29.

Description: I haven't been able to image so I thought I might try and improve some previous images. I completely reprocessed this image beginning with aligning and stacking in Deep Sky Stacker.
