Description

This is nebula off the beaten track in Sagitta looks like a small northern version of the Trifid Nebula, although others seem to think it more like the cocoon nebula. The bluish reflection nebula subtly intermingles with the dust lanes in an unusual manner. The stars in this region are very reddened by dust in the galactic plane, making most of the stars yellow. There are also some impressively red stars scattered about too. I thought them color correction artifacts, but inspection of a variety of images available from the PanStarrs and DSS survey seem to verify these stars intense red color.

Tricky to color correct because the bluish haze seems to spread everywhere, although the lower left region of the image seems to get out of the cloud, so is should be more neutral. May revisit this to get the lower left region a little more neutral colored.
