Description

A bit unplanned and rushed - the kids woke me up early, so I figured I'd try imaging Jupiter despite the low altitude.

I had to clean my corrector recently, looks like I might need to dial my collimation in a bit more. At least that's what I hope it is, rather than permanent degradation of optical performance thanks to the fungus which grew whilst I was on vacation ...

As I was rushing to capture some data before sunrise, I banked some data without the ADC before grabbing some data with the ADC. Fortuitously, this allows me to demonstrate the positive impact the ADC has, despite the less than ideal data.

See was fair to good (6 on Pickering scale) with very good transparency. An average of 5,600 frames stacked per image (6,000 and 5,320 respectively).
