Description

The iconic Horsehead Nebula, shot through Ha / SII/ OIII narrowband filters - and processed to look as natural as I could. As a starting point, red was mapped to 76% Ha / 24% S2, green to O3, and blue to 85% O3 / 15% Ha. Of course once PixInsight was done stretching and calibrating everything the colors changed considerably, but for the better! In spite of a bright moon and pretty bad light pollution, the result came out OK.
