Description

A Super Moon is when the Moon is closest to the Earth.

A Blood Moon is when the Earth fully eclipses the Moon from the Sun.

A Wolf Moon occurs only in January when the Moon is full.

So this is a Super Blood Wolf Moon as seen from Paulden, AZ at 10:11 PM MST.

There was a rather dense haze of clouds passing by the Moon at the time, and that changed the tint and clarity of the Moon quite often. I could barely make out the Moon with the unaided eye.

And of course, this image is upside down and backwards. Don’t you just love telescopes?
