My latest update on Orion on my dual imaging rig before moving into the Observatory in Marathon, Texas. This data reflects the 50 panels I shot traveling to random dark sites across the South. The most recent data was collected last year in 2018 in Marathon Texas in January- YES, it's taken me that long to process it, because: ADULTING. I now have the luxury of testing a remote observatory in which I am now shooting panels in this area (I'm up to 58 so far and hope to reach Rigel this year).
Because of the sheer size of this image to date, I've cropped it from it's native 44k on the long edge to 5K here. Please don't ask for the originals because It's hard enough moving it across my network at home. HA!
