Description

These galaxies are found by setting the Telrad halfway bewteen the two bright stars along the bottom of Leo, tangent to the line connecting them. The fuzzies are just visible at 1 s exposures in the guider and the imager. I had a lot of trouble framing this shot because they barely fit and I can't tolerate any more focal reduction at all without introducing a lot of coma. There is some light wind tonight but I'm guiding OK (north only). CCD at 11 °C. Those pesky clouds cut this session way shorter than it should have been, so I really need more data. This really should be re-done with the ST80 to get a wider field of view. M95 is at bottom right, M96 at top left.
