The Total Lunar Eclipse Event
January 20-21, 2019

Acquired with an ASI071MC on a Canon EF 600mm f/4 L II lens, using short 30 second, 1 minute and 2 minute video sequences integrated with AutoStakkert!3 and processed with PixInsight 1.8. This final image was assembled from downsampled crops of Luna throughout the partial and totality phases of the event, combined in Photoshop CC, and annotated with custom technical details.

The times are accurate and based on the timestamps of the video sequences on my local disk, Mountain Standard Time. The umbral and penumbral circles, are accurate and based on the details provided in the following document:

Event start and end times are for Aurora, Colorado. Times below moon are real-time capture stamps.

For best viewing, examine the real size image to see all the annotated technical details.
