Description

This is the area just to the south and up from the Cone Nebula. I became interested in this region in Monoceros after finishing the SHO rendering of the Cone, posting a detail of the corner of that image that included the delta-shaped dark area...a Bok?...that is lower-center in this Ha FOV.

This is the Ha start of the project. I want to be able to render it to show the blue nebulosity that shows up in the very corner of the detail, which is the little white puff just above the Bok in the Ha image, so that probably means OIII and SII data. Then I want to get the star color I achieved in the Rosette Offset image, so that means RGB. Fortunately, the target is up a long time each night right now, and it looks like we have several possible clear sessions in the next week or so. This project has jumped to the head of the line for now.
