Description

This is my time-lapse of the January 2019 lunar eclipse taken from my driveway. The video consists of 350 frames taken every 30 seconds over the course of approximately 3.5 hours. It was challenging to shoot as it required constantly changing the settings on my Canon T5i to adjust for the changing light as the moon passed through the earths shadow. This is my first astrophotography time-lapse and it took some time to learn how to edit and compile so many frames but I'm pretty happy with the result in the end and it was well worth braving the -13 degree F temps that night.
