Description

Although no moon was out, M-81 barely rose above the background glow of light pollution in my suburban neighborhood, made even worse by high humidity and bad transparency. Frankly I'm amazed it came out as well as it did. You can even see a hint of its dwarf satellite galaxy near the bottom of the image.
