Description

NGC 1491 (LBN 704) is a faint emission nebula that lies approximately 11,000 light-years away in the constellation of Perseus.

NGC 1491 was imaged between 14 December 2018 and 7 February 2019 from a remote imaging rig in Spain that is owned and operated by Barry Wilson and me.

Capture details are as follows:

Telescope: TEC 140

Camera: QSI 690

Filters: Astrodon 3nm NB

Mount: 10 Micron GM2000HPS

Ha: 24 x 1200s

OIII: 24 x 1200s

SII: 24 x 1200s

A total of 24 hours.
